DAYTON HIGH
SCHOOL
Dayton High School is located in bucolic Yamhill County,
with approximately 330 students in grades 9 through 12. The
building was built in 1937 and remodeled in 2000 when two new
classrooms were added to the west wing, kitchen facilities
were expanded, and the agriculture building was enlarged to
include the wood shop, a computer lab, a classroom, and an
office. One of the features of the high school is that the
portraits of every graduating class since 1916 line the main
hallway. Known as the Pirates, Dayton has a proud tradition of
excellence.
