Dayton School District, A District with heart ... developing minds, is a rural district located in western Oregon's scenic Mid-Willamette Valley, between McMinnville and Newberg. The staff works with parents and other community members in providing a learning environment which leads to progress and success in all academic areas and encourages students to become well-rounded citizens. The student population of approximately 1,025 is served by a grade school, a grades 6 - 8 junior high, and a high school. The school district draws people into the community who want a strong educational system with a rural sense of caring and teamwork.
